There is a way of life in South Arkansas that, for better or worse, has become part of my soul. The generations of families that live here, the gatherings of those generations, the old and the new, the big and the small together teaching and learning from each other has been my way of life for as long as I can remember.
The memories I have are equal parts sound, smell and touch, and the magic that makes my heart beat faster is that one single image can bring back all those feelings at once.
For over twenty years it has been my goal to capture my family’s story in words and images. I don’t do this in a fancy studio. I don’t have lights or backdrops. My studio is wherever you want to be, wherever your story wants to be told.
My passion is families. It is also natural light. The light, shadows and expressions all work together to create an image that tells a story. My story, your story, from beginning to end.
It is an honor for me to be a small part of your family’s journey.
